Healthcare Industry Advisory Council:

Healthcare is a complex system.  TRECAHEALTH staff and management focus on hospital operational and clinical improvements but strive to keep those activities in perspective with the overall healthcare system.  In supporting our hospital partners, we work hard to prevent one hospital process (department) sub-optimizing the performance of another department and compromising the "system" outcome.  We also seek to keep an eye on the bigger picture, staying aware of scenarios that impact hospital operations and finance or may sub-optimize the system at the hospital’s expense.  To facilitate this outlook, TRECAHEALTH has established an advisory council of healthcare leaders representing different aspects of our delivery and payment system.  The knowledge, skills and expertise of this council are accessible through TRECA.
